Tom Anderson
As long as I can remember I have enjoyed drawing. My first
compliment came from my second grade teacher when she saw a
landscape I had copied from a book.
Poppy poster contests, yearbook illustrations and covers, and hand
lettering signs during college for extra income were all part of my
artistic development.
It wasn't until after 40 years in the business arena that I began taking
art classes and developing my art skills. My extensive traveling in the
USA and abroad have furnished boundless material and intensified
my desire to paint. For the last decade I have studied under excellent
local artists, as well as taking many art workshops from some of the
best national artists.
My main media of interest is in watercolor, but for some subjects, only
oils will do.
