Elaine Mattmann
Elaine Mattmann is originally from New Jersey, but has lived most of
her life in Florida.  She now resides in Salisbury, Midlothian, Virginia

Elaine has experience in a variety of artistic mediums but prefers to
work primarily in oil or watercolor.  As she improved her skills and
mastered different techniques, her own unique style of realism
developed. Elaine often enjoys painting 'plein air' deriving great
pleasure from experiencing the outdoors.

Elaine has studied at Broward Community College, and also with
other artists. Instructor, Bob Gross, has for many years, been a
guiding light in Elaine's artistic education, and she is grateful for his
expertise and especially his knowledge about the methods of past
artists.  Elaine tells us he is a master who teaches about the great
masters.

Elaine says her family and especially her husband Bob have been very
supportive and always encourage her artistic efforts.

“For as long as I can
remember, one thing
always held true is my
desire to be an artist.”
